About the Role
As a Supported Living Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating support teams, driving service excellence, and ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for the individuals we support. You will work closely with participants, families, support workers, and external stakeholders to create a safe, empowering, and high-performing environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to take ownership, drive excellence in service delivery, and play a key role in shaping the future of disability support services at Allara.
What You’ll Do
- Team Leadership & Roster Coordination – Oversee and coordinate support workers to maintain seamless, high-quality participant support.
- Participant Matching & Engagement – Pair participants with the right support workers and build meaningful, effective support relationships.
- Stakeholder Communication – Maintain strong, open communication with participants, families, and external health professionals.
- Capacity Building – Support participants in developing their independence and achieving personal goals.
- Staff Training & Development – Mentor, train, and support your team to ensure best-practice care.
- Service Implementation – Ensure Allara’s policies, initiatives, and workflows are effectively implemented in our homes.
- Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to NDIS Standards, manage incidents, and maintain accurate documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the disability sector, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and perform under pressure.
- Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal – for engaging with participants, families, colleagues, and external partners.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and supporting a team of support workers.
- Commitment to enhancing independence and opportunities for people with disabilities.
- High level of computer literacy with experience in administration, support plans, and risk profiles.
- Energetic, solutions-focused, and positive attitude—you bring a “can-do” mindset to challenges and opportunities.
