Job Description

Supported Assistant Practitioner / Assistant Practitioner | 9331 | permanent contract | part-time 30 hours per week | Grade F - £29,064 to £31,022 per annum pro rata or Grade G - £32,061 to £33,699 per annum pro rata, depending on experience | Kelling Hospital, Holt

We're looking for a practitioner to join The Northern Learning Disabilities Team based in North Norfolk. Covering North Norfolk and Broadland our service provides an integrated Health and Social Care approach to assessment and support in the community.

Norfolk County Council and Hertfordshire Partnership university NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) deliver together a single service for adults with a Learning Disability. We are an integrated Health and Social Care team providing specialist Learning Disability support to adults in the community.

About you:
You will be able to work under pressure, be well organised and able to effectively prioritise. You will need to have a positive attitude and enjoy finding creative and innovative solutions. You will have excellent communication skills, record keeping and keyboard skills. You should have a commitment to excellent customer service and multi- agency working. You will build strong partnerships with service users and their families, be ambitious about what people can achieve and confidently explore ideas for positive outcomes.

Our Supported Assistant Practitioners (Scale F) join our 9-month, bespoke support programme, enabling you to progress to an Assistant Practitioner role (Scale G) subject to satisfactory programme completion.
