Job Description

  • Casual positions on a 24/7 roster particularly passive & active sleepover shifts
  • Roles based across Metro Adelaide including north, south and city
  • Be part of an established and trusted disability provider, where strong systems, clear frameworks and a supportive team help you deliver safe, person-centred support

So many lives. So many ways. One you.

50,000 lives and counting.

That’s how many South Australians our people support each year.

As one of the state’s leading not-for-profits, we’re making a meaningful impact at scale. From foster care to aged care and everything in between, our services are as diverse as the people and communities we serve - and we’re growing our reach for the future.

It takes a special kind of person to work in this sector. Someone with real compassion and care. Could that person be you?

Join us as a Support Worker and be part of something bigger.

What you’ll do

As a Support Worker within our Supported Community Living service, you’ll support people living with disability to feel safe, confident and empowered in their own homes and communities.

No two shifts will be the same. You’ll provide person-centred support based on each customer’s individual goals, preferences and needs, helping them build everyday skills, maintain meaningful relationships and enjoy greater choice and independence.

You’ll join a supportive, values-driven team committed to creating positive outcomes and standing alongside the people and communities we serve.

You’ll be trusted to make a valuable impact by:

  • Supporting customers with daily living needs and encouraging skill development for greater independence.
  • Promoting community inclusion and respecting individual choice in all aspects of support.
  • Assisting customers to achieve their physical, emotional, and social goals through tailored strategies.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, families, colleagues, and others involved in care.

What you’ll bring

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum Certificate III in Individual Support Disability.
  • Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including at least three full weekdays and two passive sleepover shifts each week.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and supportive relationships.
  • Current and valid NDIS Worker Clearance, Working with Children Clearance and First Aid certificate.
  • A minimum P2 Australian driver’s licence.

We would also love you to have:

  • Knowledge of the NDIS, Positive Behaviour Support, Active Support and person-centred practice.
  • Mental health qualifications or relevant experience.
