Dovehaven Care Homes are Recruiting for a Support Worker to join our dedicated team on Rowan Unit, Tag Lane, Ingol, Preston. We currently have x3 positions on this unit working DAYS 7am- 7pm, or NIGHTS 7pm- 7am on a rota basis with alternate weekend availability required. 33hr Contracts available.

Rowan Unit is a 19 bed facilitysupporting adults with complex needs including Dementia plus, Parkinson’s Disease, Schizophrenia, Brain injury, enduring mental health conditions and behavioural support requirements.

Your Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital part in helping individuals achieve their goals and maintain independence. You’ll support with personal care, daily living activities, and engagement in therapeutic routines, using trauma-informed approaches and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

  • Implement care plans and behaviour support strategies
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Uphold accountability through accurate documentation and reflective practice

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
