We are currently seeking a new team member for our Dramsdon service, located in Shalbourne Village, Wiltshire (Close to Hungerford, Marlborough, Tidworth). At Dramsdon we support five adults with their day to day lives, including a variety of activities, from shopping, travelling around the area, going to the cinema, and beyond.

Having a positive outlook, sociable and enjoy a range of activities, are ideal attributes for our team members. All we need to see is that you share our values and are committed to supporting people to get the most out of their day.

Please be aware that there is no public transport available so being a driver and having regular access to a vehicle is desirable.

Applicants should be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and should be enthusiastic about supporting our residents in a person-centred way.

Shift times are 07:00–14:30, 14:30–22:00 and 07:00-22:00.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals in line with their care plans.
  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and supporting with meals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to all individuals.
  • Monitor and report any changes to individuals’ health or behaviour.
  • Help with household tasks and meal preparation.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of those under your care.
  • Paid sleep ins.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a care-related role is desirable.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures is advantageous.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection guidelines
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
