We’re currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and resilient male SIL House Lead to support a male participant with ASD Level, complex behaviours and high physical support needs. This is a permanent part-time, fly-in fly-out (FIFO) role from Brisbane to Mackay. The role requires a calm, confident support worker who can provide consistent structure, emotional regulation support, and safe, proactive behaviour management.
This role is open to male applicants only, in line with the participant’s assessed support needs and documented preference
About the Role
As a Support Worker in the SIL House Leader role, you will provide Supported Independent Living services that promote safety, independence, and emotional stability for a participant with complex behavioural needs. This includes personal care, meal preparation, and supporting the participant to build predictable routines, healthy habits, and meaningful daily structure. You will play a key role in implementing behaviour support strategies, maintaining a regulated home environment, and ensuring the participant feels supported both at home and in the community.
This role requires support from workers who can safely manage physical tasks and high intensity behavioural presentations.
