The Role:

We’re on the lookout for compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our growing teams in Buderim, Sunshine Coast. In this role you’ll support NDIS participants in SIL homes, helping with daily living, personal care, and activities that keep life vibrant and meaningful. Every shift is an opportunity to make someone’s day an opportunity for meaningful and fulfilling life.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering person-centred support and following individual care plans.
  • Providing personal care (e.g. hoisting, showering, toileting, dressing, mealtime assistance).
  • Assisting with High Intensity needs such as peg feeding, dysphagia and catheter care (full training provided).
  • Supporting with household tasks such as meal prep, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Assisting clients to engage in community and recreational activities (including swimming/hydrotherapy).
  • Ensuring safe, compliant practices in line with the NDIS Code of Conduct and WHS standards.

Shifts available

  • 0600-0900 and 0600-1000
  • 1400-2100
  • 1400-2100 with sleepover 0500-0600

What You’ll Need:

  • Availability for morning shifts is essential
  • Passion for working with people with disabilities (including individuals with High Intensity support needs).
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Card & Queensland Blue Card.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certifications.
  • Driver licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Full working rights in Australia.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
