Support Worker

Pay: £15.00 per hour
Refer a Friend Scheme – £250 awarded (T&C's apply)

We currently have a great opportunity for dedicated Full-Time, Part-Time, and Bank Support Workers to work with an individual with complex needs in the South London area.

Please note we are not a recruitment agency.

We’re looking for carers with an L3 NVQ in health and social care, or equivalent, who are positive, caring, and proactive to join a dedicated support team for an individual iving in their home.

About the Person You’ll Be Supporting

This is indivdual who needs support from those around themin every aspect of daily living - with their mental health and brain injury .

While they can experience behaviours that challenge, they thrives when supported by people who understand them remain consistent, and use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches. If you’re someone with a calm presence, emotional resilience, and a willingness to learn, this role is for you.

What You’ll Need:

• A genuine passion for supporting people to live their best lives
• Minimum of a Level 3 NVQ in health and social care
• Experience in nurse-led environments
• Patience, empathy and great communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
• Experience with PBS or a strong willingness to be trained
• A person-centred approach — always putting the individual first
• The ability to work as part of a consistent and committed team
• A full UK driving licence ( essential)
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, or complex health conditions is desirable
• Knowledge with supporting health-related needs such as diabetes management (training provided)

Schedule:

• 08:00 to 20:00 or 20:00 to 08:00 (7 days a week)
• Overtime available

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (ESSENTIAL)

*Refer a Friend Bonus:

• £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their first shift
• £125 once the referred individual has successfully completed their probation period
