Job Description

Direct Production (DP) is central to Nokia’s manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient, high‑quality output through effective management of processes, people, and machinery. The team supports performance optimization, maintenance, cost control, quality standards, and packaging activities.


As a Direct Production Operator (DPO), you will be involved in the full production cycle, including issuing materials, operating production lines, performing testing and quality checks, packaging products, staging for shipment, and releasing orders for delivery. You will also support equipment maintenance, waste handling, and the upkeep of a safe and efficient production environment.

  • Works within a variety of guidelines, standard operating procedures and / or technical methods with a moderate degree of supervision.
  • Identifies problems and related issues in straightforward situations and assesses these using standard procedures.
  • May provide informal guidance and support to colleagues with less experience.
  • Works on basic professional engineering assignments to implement, maintain and develop methods and processes in a specific competence area.

  • Accountable for the quality and accuracy of personal work output
  • Completes tasks according to defined operational targets and procedures
  • Entry‑level individual contributor performing standard or semi‑routine tasks
  • Makes decisions within established guidelines and processes
  • Works primarily according to documented procedures with supervision
  • Gathers information to support basic problem solving and decision making
  • Communicates clearly with team members and internal stakeholders
