Support Staff / Floater – Multi-Classroom Role
Location: The Learning Experience – Sterling, VA
Pay: $18–$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – Sterling is seeking a flexible and dependable Support Staff / Floater to assist classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role supports daily routines across age groups while helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and working with multiple classroom teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom coverage across infant, toddler, and preschool programs
• Assist teachers with daily routines, activities, and transitions
• Support playground supervision and learning center preparation
• Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness
• Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios
• Communicate professionally with families and team members
• Follow Virginia licensing and safety requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Prior childcare experience required
• Comfortable supporting multiple age groups
• Flexible, dependable, and team-oriented
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
