Job Description

The Support Staff aids in all summer camp programs, activities, operations and staff as directed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate and assist with all camp programming
  • Assist the facilities department with maintenance, grounds and housekeeping duties as needed
  • Assist with kitchen and dining hall duties including serving, dish washing, sweeping, mopping, etc.
  • Participate in camp programing, trainings and staff devotions
  • Assist counselors with campers and bedtime responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 15 years of age

Education/Experience:

  • Previous experience working with children a plus
  • Previous experience supervising camper desired
  • Willingness to work as part of the ministry team with other staff members

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

Computer Skills:

  • Basic computer skills required

Certificates and Licenses:

  • Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
