Location: Taconic Biosciences is seeking a full-time Support Services Technician to join our dedicated Central Processing Area team at the Germantown, NY site.
The Pay Range: $20 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors. These factors include geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions and could exceed the advertised salary range, however, please note that the upper end of the range is not guaranteed to be offered.
The Schedule: Enjoy a balanced work-life schedule with a Monday to Friday shift, start as early as 5:30am.

As a Support Services Technician in our Central Processing Area (CPA), you will play a vital role in supporting our animal production needs through a variety of cleaning, sterilizing, transporting, and processing procedures. You will work closely with the team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, with opportunities to cross-train in different areas for a well-rounded experience.
This role requires considerable physical exertion, including frequent climbing, crouching, crawling, and lifting items up to 75 pounds. The work environment involves regular use of chemicals, protective equipment, and heavy machinery, with exposure to occupational hazards that require special precautions and occasional situations with the potential for serious injury. Regular exposure to extreme temperatures, outdoor weather conditions, strong odors, and elevated noise levels is also expected, and access to certain work areas may be restricted. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
