Core Responsibilities
Support all UDC users in their daily day to day operations in Network, s/w, h/w and other IT related issues.
Develops standards for computer and network systems, to include standards for wiring, equipment & system security.
Installs, configures, and maintains computer and network operating system and application software, as appropriate.
Maintain network security including installation and maintenance of fire wall.
Install upgrade servers and workstations operating system.
Install and upgrade servers and workstation application software.
Implements integrated network architectures for medium-to-large computer systems.
Maintain and support all Audio Visual equipment at all sites.
Train the new users on ICT related equipment and systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree - IT Related.
Experience: 3 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicates with users and ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of a range of computer and networking software and hardware systems and related technologies.
Ability to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, networks, and/or related hardware and software.
Ability to analyze and assess computer/network architecture requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions.
