Position Overview:
As a Product Integrity Clerk you are responsible for the processing of customer returns and any compromised/damaged product within the distribution center. You are responsible for reviewing damages, repairable and non salvageable products affected during inbound and outbound processing.
Responsibilities:
• Receiving daily direction from leadership as to which aisles to work
• Operating powered industrial equipment such as but not limited electric pallet jacks
• Replacing returned customer product back to its original pick slot – damage free
• Proper allocation of all salvageable products
• Scanning damaged cases out of inventory using RF hand-held devices
• Repairing, repacking or properly short-packing any compromised products in need of repair
• Scanning all repaired/repacked cases back into inventory using RF hand-held devices
• Reading and understanding selection labels, slot identification codes, and product descriptions to be able to process products accordingly
• Distinguishing between damaged and salvageable products in a pick slot
• Properly stacking products on pick slot pallets in a damage free manner following the interlocking case method
• Stacking overflow product in the aisle on appropriate pallet
• Securing all completed pallets with shrink wrap for shipment
• Documenting all products processed accurately, clearly and in a timely manner
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment in the warehouse
• Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

• All areas - Grocery, Dairy, Freezer
Schedule:
• Sunday-Thursday
• 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Rate:
• $18.00
Experience:
• Preferred: One (1) year distribution, warehouse or selection experience
• Preferred: MHE experience (Electric pallet jacks such as center riders or long forks; forklifts)
• Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership
Skills:
• Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout shift
• Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment – getting on and off equipment throughout shift
• Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
• Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Working in a team based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders timely and with the highest quality
• Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives
