Clarity is looking for a Support Pharmacist to work across pharmacies in Athlone and Ballinasloe, Co. Galway

What you need to know:

This is a permanent, full-time position offering flexibility around the working schedule. The successful candidate will work 2 days in Ballinasloe and 2–3 days in Athlone, depending on the agreed rota. The role will include working 2 Saturdays out of 4 and the occasional Sunday You’ll be joining a supportive team environment focused on delivering excellent service to patients. The pharmacy uses the MPS dispensing system.

What you will be doing:

• Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service in line with PSI guidelines and best practice.
• Ensure the safe supply of medicines while offering professional advice and counselling to patients.
• Deliver excellent customer care and build strong relationships with patients.
• Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to support the day-to-day running of the dispensary.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all relevant pharmacy legislation and procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Good communication skills

What we require:

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland
• Experience in a busy Irish pharmacy.

Salary is negotiable and based on experience.
