Support Partner (2 East) - 7am-3:30pm - part-time
Support Partners perform housekeeping duties in alignment with infection control standards. They maintain a sanitary, well organized, positive environment for the patient, family, and patient care team. This position transports patients, specimens, and medications.
Hours: 7am-3:30pm, weekend and holiday rotation
Responsibilities
Assists other care team members with activities of daily living, i.e., bathing, feeding, transferring, ambulating patients, Completes cleaning of common areas on unit, including but not limited to desks, phones, soiled utility, pantries, conference rooms, staff and visitor bathrooms, and lounge areas, Completes routine "daily" cleaning of occupied patient rooms and extensive discharge cleaning in alignment with infection control guidlines, policies and procedures, Stocks appropriate supplies, Supports relationship based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, family, and co-workers and promoting a safe, caring, and healing environment, Transports patients, specimens and supplies as requested
