As a Support Officer, you will play a key role in creating a positive resident experience by providing exceptional administrative, scheduling and customer service support within our Retirement Villages. Youwill be the first point of contact for many resident enquiries, helping ensure residents feel supported, informed and connected to the services they need.

Your Opportunity

This is afull-time permanent onsite role basedatCastle Hill Villagebetween Monday to Fridaywithoccasionalweekendrostered hours to support operational requirements.

As a Support Officer, you will support the day-to-day administrative operations of an Anglicare Retirement Village, working closely with residents, their families,onsite health andcare teams,village teamsand external stakeholders.

You willbe responsible forcoordinating resident enquiries, supporting scheduling activities,maintainingaccuraterecordsand ensuring services are delivered efficiently and professionally.

With empathy,professionalismand a strong customer focus, you will:

Resident Support & Customer Service

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents,familiesand stakeholders

  • Manage inbound calls,emailsand enquiries ina timelyand professional manner

  • Triage resident enquiries and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams

Scheduling & Administration

  • Maintainaccurateresident information within CRM and associated systems

  • Coordinate scheduling requests and service changes efficiently

  • Ensure records, documentation and correspondence are completed accurately and on time

  • Support service coordination activities to meet resident needs and expectations

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build strong working relationships with residents,families,careteamsand village staff

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure enquiries are resolved promptly

  • Communicate clearly and professionally across multiple channels

Continuous Improvement & Compliance

  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance resident and team experiences

  • Support managingKPI achievement relating to resident enquiries,schedulingand service delivery

  • Uphold Anglicare's Mission,Visionand Values in all interactions

Safety & Workplace Culture

  • Promote a positive safety culture through active participation in WHS activities

  • Maintain a safe,respectfuland inclusive work environment

  • Report hazards, incidents and near missesin accordance withorganisational requirements

What You'll Bring

You are organised, proactive and customer-focused, with a genuine passion for supporting older people and creating positive experiences.

You will also need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in administration,schedulingor customer service roles

  • Experience using CRM systems, schedulingplatformsor similar business systems

  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

  • Abilitytoworkin a dynamic environment

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville. In 2016–17, more than 85,654 children attended our Emergency Department, 322,291 specialist clinic appointments were held which was almost 70,000 more than the previous year, more than 17,000 surgeries were performed and more than 48,552 children were admitted to our wards.
