Job Description

Position Overview:

As a Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory within the warehouse. The role is crucial to maintaining inventory, integrity, reducing errors, and enhancing overall warehouse performance.

Responsibilities:
• Resolving inventory-related issues using the Warehouse Management System
• Performing cycle counts
• Moving products according to the company's needs and slotting requirements
• Completing slot moves of the product on the computer
• Ensuring proper rotation of all perishable items
• Assisting other departments in resolving issues with misplaced products or other inventory-related discrepancies
• Collaborating with relevant teams to address and rectify any discrepancies or quality issues
• Ensuring adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Maintaining detailed records of audit findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken
• Communicating audit results to management in a clear and concise manner
• Assist in cleaning and maintaining a safe working environment in the warehouse
• Flexibility to work various or additional shifts, as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Environment:
• Varying temperatures based on the assigned working environment

Schedule:
• Monday-Friday 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

Rate:
• $18.50/hour
Experience:
• Preferred: One (1) year distribution, warehouse, or selection experience
• Preferred: MHE experience (Electric pallet jacks such as center riders or long forks; forklifts)
• Preferred: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with associates and leadership

Skills:
• Safety Culture: Maintain and drive safety policies to all associates; driving for accountability of safe practices throughout the shift
• Physical abilities: May be required to lift up to 80-85lbs.; standing, bending, lifting, and twisting for up to 90% of your shift; frequently lifting product from various heights, including floor level to over your head; Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours daily; working in various temperature-controlled environments; the ability to operate required material handling equipment – getting on and off equipment throughout shift
• Strong communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers and leaders on a daily basis
• Organizational Skills: Ability to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Working in a team-based environment: Working independently and as a team player to ensure our customers are receiving orders in a timely manner and with the highest quality
• Quality: Maintain integrity and high standards of product handling from all perspectives
