We are seeking a technical, client focused Solutions Engineer – Electrification Software to join our Services/Support team with responsibilities spanning solution implementation, L2–L3 application support, and continuous service improvement. In this role, you will apply your understanding of emerging energy industry trends and their impact on utilities to support Electrification Software deployments across the full-service lifecycle, in alignment with ITIL service management practices.
As an ADMS Solutions Engineer, you will design, configure, deploy, and support Electrification Software (including GridOS) applications and data models for electrical network systems. You will ensure data accuracy, system availability, and operational stability by working closely with cross functional teams and customers. This role requires an understanding of electrical network data structures, GIS technologies, and SCADA management systems for Transmission and Distribution systems, as well as the ability to diagnose and resolve complex application and integration issues in live environments.

Key Responsibilities
Solution Delivery & Transition to Support
• Contribute to the implementation of GridOS solutions, owning technical deliverables across multiple business cases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage with utility customers to understand business and operational requirements and align Electrification Software solutions accordingly.
• Design, develop, and configure data models tailored for electrical network systems within relevant Electrification Software applications.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers, solution integrators, technical leads, delivery managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and transition into support.
• Support release and deployment activities, including configuration, validation, and readiness for operational handover.

L2–L3 Application Support (ITIL Aligned)
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support for our solutions, handling incidents escalated from L1 support.
• Diagnose and resolve complex application, data, and integration issues in production and pre production environments.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to Problem Management, including identification of permanent fixes and preventive actions.
• Participate in Incident Management, ensuring timely resolution in line with agreed service levels.
• Support Change and Release Management activities, including impact assessments, implementation, and post change validation.
• Debug software defects, document findings, and coordinate with product, testing, and third party teams as required.
• Maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and runbooks to support service continuity and knowledge transfer.
• Contribution to on-call rota for resolution of Critical Incidents

Data, Quality & System Operations
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency through rigorous testing, validation, and documentation.
• Integrate data models into ETL processes and maintain data pipelines for electrical network systems.
• Monitor system behavior and performance, proactively identifying risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Make standard recommendations regarding workflows, application configuration, interfaces, reporting, testing, and customer data uploads.

Go Live & Post Go Live Support
• Support go live readiness activities, hypercare periods, and post implementation reviews.
• Provide post live application support and operational checkups, working closely with internal teams and customers to ensure service stability and satisfaction.
• Escalate issues outside of defined standard work to senior engineers or product teams, while maintaining ownership through resolution.

Continuous Improvement & Customer Engagement
• Stay informed of evolving electrical network technologies, Electrification Software capabilities, and ITIL best practices.
• Recommend service, process, and technical improvements to enhance system reliability, supportability, and customer outcomes.
• Act as a trusted technical point of contact for customers in operational and support contexts.

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, implementation services, and application support in an ITIL aligned environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications at L2/L3 level.
• Solid understanding of database management systems, SQL, and spatial data concepts.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross functional team.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to team documentation and knowledge repositories.
