Support Chef | Futuro Early Learning – South-West Sydney
$39–$42/hr + super Monday-Friday
Futuro Early Learning is looking for an experienced, adaptable and reliable Support Chef to join our growing kitchen team.
This is a unique full-time role working across our Futuro Early Learning centres, providing support and coverage when our centre chefs and kitchen hands are on annual leave, sick leave or otherwise away from their kitchen.
When you're not providing leave coverage, you'll work at our Leppington centre, supporting food preparation, systems and the smooth day-to-day running of our kitchens.

About You
- Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent are preferred
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement
- Valid working with children check (WWCC), or ability to obtain prior to commencement
- Full permission to work in Australia
What the role involves:
- Work across Futuro Early Learning centres as required
- Provide annual leave and sick leave coverage for centre chefs
- Confidently run a centre kitchen independently when providing cover
- Prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children each day
- Follow Futuro menus, recipes, portioning and food standards
- Manage food allergies, intolerances and individual dietary requirements
- Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen operations when leave coverage isn't required
- Work collaboratively with our centre teams and wider kitchen team
