Fife Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for thousands of members across Fife. We are seeking three enthusiastic and motivated Pension Support Assistants to join our busy pensions administration and pensions payroll teams.
In the role, you will provide administrative support across a wide range of pension activities. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate member records, processing pension-related information, responding to enquiries from scheme members, employers and pensioners, as well as supporting the delivery of a high-quality service.
You will work with specialist pension administration systems and will help ensure that pension benefits are processed accurately and within service targets. The role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
As a progressive employer, we offer the opportunity to work in this role as a blended working arrangement with home-working opportunities and office-based working as required. Candidates should be able to travel to Fife House, Glenrothes when required.

The Person
We are looking for individuals who:
Educated to SVQF level 5 (4 qualifications at intermediate level 2 or above) or equivalent in a business /customer service subject that would demonstrate the standard of work required for the role.
Possess strong literacy, numeracy, and data entry skills.
Can communicate effectively with a wide range of customers, both verbally and in writing.
Have experience using computer systems, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
Can organise and prioritise workloads, working accurately to deadlines.
Have the ability to interpret information, follow procedures, and maintain confidentiality.
Demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
Previous experience within pensions, payroll, financial administration, or local government would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.
