Job Description

Our Client a multi-national Investment Bank is looking to hire a Support Analyst - Sales & Research



As a member of our IT Production Support team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our Sales & Research business systems. You will work closely with our Engineering teams, troubleshooting issues, ensuring smooth operation of our systems, and providing user support for our sales and research applications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert support for our applications and infrastructure for Sales & Research services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Provide user support for our Sales & Research applications, addressing user queries, and troubleshooting application issues.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving our processes.
  • Work with Linux and Windows server environments.


Requirements

Experience & Educational / Professional Qualifications

  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or IT related area

Essential Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS.
  • Advanced familiarity with Linux server environments.
  • Basic knowledge of AWS infrastructure like EC2, S3, RDS, LB, etc.
  • Basic understanding of networking principles.
  • Familiarity with CI-CD environment & processes, Integration using technologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with Containers and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of GitOps principles.
  • Understanding of CI-CD environment & processes.
  • Familiarity with mitigating typical web vulnerabilities (XSS, SQL injection, etc).
  • Experience or familiarity with modern IT practices such as DevOps, Agile, etc.
