Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):

$25.000 - $25.000 - $26.220

The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position.  The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.


What You Will Do
Receive and deliver daily supplies and equipment shipped into TCHD.

Required Qualifications

  • One (1) to three (3) months or related work or training, required.


Preferred Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1 Year experience working in a hospital environment, preferred.
  • Material management software experience, preferred.


Essential Functions

  • The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner.     Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit-based safety and infection control requirements.
    Input daily item orders and perform daily stock checks as well as customer pickups as needed. Ensure inventory items are stocked and counted, compare to established par levels, rotated and replenished daily and all procedures are followed. Check for compromised products and expired inventory.
    Receive inbound materials and marks materials with identifying information; verify and record amount of material received; sort materials and stock on racks, shelves or bins in accordance with predetermined sequence such as size, color, type or product code. Arrange materials for order assembly. Recognize errors in receiving documents, requisitions and inventory records.
    Delivery of lowest unit measure and bulk products.
    Quality control, moving carts to and from loading docks, and operation of material handling equipment as needed.
    Assist with any customer requests while maintaining a high level of customer service.
    Housekeeping duties including all forms of onsite cleanup.         
    Operates materials handling tools and equipment from delivery to disposition of all materials.
    Wear appropriate attire and personal protective equipment as required.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of or experience in storeroom or inventory control experience, preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English.
  • Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction), strong interpersonal/relationship building skills, and demonstrate good customer relations’ skills.
  • Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to meet the physical requirements of the position; including lifting and delivering products up to 50 pounds, pushing delivery carts.
  • Proficient computer skills (MS WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Outlook), required.
