FIN | Finance SC Central Supply Storeroom

The Supply Technician Lead actively participates in the Central Supply work flow and leads/instructs staff in the daily completion of supply restocking duties. The Supply Technician Lead provides relief supervision in the absence of the supervisor.
Additional Information:
• Actively participates in recording inventory, filling and stocking/restocking of supply par areas
• Practices stock rotation, removal of outdated supplies and cycle counting of supplies to ensure accuracy of counts.
• Receives and stocks supplies in Central Supply as assigned and/or as needed.
• Displays proficiency when using the Pyxis computerized restocking process
• Completes par level assignments in time allocated
• Provides relief supervision in the absence of the Supervisor
• Trains and leads staff in the proper restocking of nursing/surgical supply areas
• Maintains supply areas and ensures daily work assignments are given and completed
• Trains staff in proper department procedures and documents training with new employees
• Staffs the Central Supply dispatch window as assigned
• Issues and records supplies that are sent via pick up, delivery or tube system
• Greets visitors quickly and courteously, answers phone inquiries and assists as needed, and issues procedure trays and carts and records the issuance
