Responsible for receipt, distribution and delivery of hospital supplies and equipment.
This position is based out of the Cooper Distribution Center in Pennsauken, NJ.
Primary duties include daily delivery of supplies, utilizing 26-foot diesel box truck or cargo van(s) (includes loading and off-load of medical supplies and equipment), daily maintenance of 26-foot diesel box truck and cargo van(s) (includes daily visual inspection and logging of any issues), picking of requisitions orders, receipt of shipments and documentation in ERP, replenishment of inventory supplies at the Distribution Center, and cycle counts of inventory.
Loading, unloading, and delivery of medical supplies and equipment between the Distribution Center and other Cooper facilities utilizing a 26’ diesel box truck or cargo van.
Daily maintenance (visual inspections, logging of issues, cleanliness, etc.) of delivery vehicles.
Safe operation of warehouse equipment such as forklift, stacker, electric pallet truck, pallet jack, and compactor.
Maintaining cleanliness of Distribution Center.
Adhering to OSHA and other regulatory agency safety protocols and guidelines.
Picks orders coming to the Distribution Center from other Cooper facilities.
Receives deliveries from distributors, shipping companies, and other suppliers.
Includes physical receipt of items and proper documentation in ERP system.
Restocks bulk and LUM inventory items at the Distribution Center.
Follows department procedures for FIFO and other inventory control measures as directed by management.
Performs cycle counts of inventory located at Distribution Center under the direction of management.
Provides outstanding customer service when answering requests for assistance from suppliers and customers.
3-5 years Supply Chain/Warehouse Required
High School / GED Required
Vocational / Technical School Preferred
Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record must meet Cooper’s standard insurance criteria to be permitted to drive Cooper vehicles.
