SUPPLY SPECIALIST, NATIONAL ACCOUNTS

Glendale or Pewaukee, Wisconsin - hybrid

POSITION SUMMARY

The National Accounts Supply Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality, personalized service to key national accounts. This role will ensure customer satisfaction, manage order processing, maintain online ordering sites, and provide prompt and accurate support for a range of inquiries. Working closely with National Accounts Supply Manager, Supply Chain, logistics teams, and Ecommerce. The representative will play a critical role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with major and emerging national accounts while helping to streamline processes and resolve any issues that arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide highest quality customer service and support to Customers, Supply Manager, and National Account Managers.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage a high level of emails and work autonomously.
  • Process customer orders (via phone, email, website inquiry) ensuring timely delivery and follow-up to customers, including daily responsibility of maintaining backorder and open order reports.
  • Efficiently utilize SAP system to enter new store opening orders, determine availability, pricing, delivery and special customer requirements. Check for accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve possible issues concerning fulfillment, products and logistics of customer orders in a professional and solutions-oriented manner. This may involve FedEx tracking, freight quotes, rush orders, returns and credit issues among a variety of other requests.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (i.e. warehouse, ecommerce, accounts receivable & supply chain) to address customer needs, solve issues, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate the delivery of new restaurant opening smallware orders with warehousing team and provide updates on a regular basis.
  • Assist Supply manager and Ecommerce team with on-boarding new chains to our online ordering platform.
  • Work closely with Accounts Receivable Team to process customer invoices, credits, debits and collect down payments for opening and re-supply orders.
  • Candidate must have the ability to learn a broad range of both foodservice products and vendors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates/bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-5 years related experience. Proficiency in SAP, Auto Quotes, Magento, Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to use a keyboard, calculator, and telephone. Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and occasionally stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, lift (10 lbs.), and an ability to adjust vision for close vision work.
