  • Guardian Industries is looking for a Supply Planning Intercompany and Trading Coordinator to join our team in El Marqués, Querétaro. In this role, you will be responsible for translating demand plans into effective supply and inventory strategies for imported glass products sourced from Guardian sister plants. You will play a key role in ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory levels, and supporting world-class customer service through strong collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams.
  • Our Team
  • You will be part of the Supply Chain organization and report directly to the S&OE Manager. This role works cross-functionally with regional demand planning, logistics, customer service, production planning, and supply planning teams across multiple Guardian locations. Success in this position requires collaboration, analytical thinking, and the ability to influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • What You Will Do
  • Develop and maintain inventory replenishment plans to ensure product availability for customer demand.
  • Coordinate closely with supply planners at Guardian sister plants to minimize material shortages and support inventory targets.
  • Align with regional coating and tint campaign schedules to support replenishment cycles and inventory models.
  • Monitor demand versus available supply capacity and proactively address potential constraints.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Sales teams to support project-related demand requirements.
  • Translate coated glass demand forecasts into supply requirements and delivery plans.
  • Create and manage replenishment purchase orders while optimizing transportation efficiency.
  • Monitor inventory health and support product rotation strategies to reduce slow-moving inventory.
  • Support raw material planning activities to maintain appropriate inventory levels and avoid supply interruptions.
  • Partner with manufacturing and batch house teams to align inventory consumption with production requirements.
  • Support future production scheduling activities within ERP planning tools to maximize asset utilization and material availability.
  • Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, inventory management, S&OP, or related functions.
  • Experience working with ERP and planning systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • English proficiency sufficient for business communication with global teams.
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on supply chain metrics.
  • What Will Put You Ahead

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Management, or S&OP processes.
  • Experience using Advanced Planning Systems such as APO or similar tools.
  • APICS certification.
  • Experience collaborating with manufacturing operations and international suppliers.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and transformational change.
  • Experience supporting imported products and intercompany supply networks.
  • Ability to travel occasionally as business needs require.
