Job Description
SASMAR is on the lookout for a proactive and strategic Product Development Manager to join our innovative team. Headquartered in Malta, SASMAR is a prominent pharmaceutical company specializing in personal care and fertility products, particularly renowned for our Conceive Plus brand. With a presence in over 70 countries, we are dedicated to developing high-quality products sold through pharmacies, supermarkets, and clinics worldwide.
The Supply Planning & Fulfilment Executive is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods across the supply chain by balancing customer demand with inventory availability. This role plays a critical part in optimising supply chain performance, coordinating across multiple departments, and ensuring high service levels while maintaining cost efficiency.
The position acts as a key link between sales, procurement, production, and logistics to ensure timely product availability while minimising excess inventory and operational disruptions.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Forecasting
- Analyse demand trends, historical data, and market inputs to support accurate forecasting
- Develop short- and long-term supply plans aligned with business needs
- Monitor forecast accuracy and adjust plans based on changes in demand or supply conditions
Order Fulfilment
- Manage the end-to-end order fulfilment cycle, including order processing and coordination with warehouse and logistics teams
- Liaise with 3PL partners to ensure timely picking, packing, and delivery of goods
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or service issues
Inventory Management
- Monitor stock levels to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory
- Ensure optimal inventory turnover and maintain agreed stock coverage levels
- Coordinate replenishment planning in line with demand and lead times
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams to align supply with demand
- Identify and resolve supply chain disruptions and operational bottlenecks
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain processes
Systems & Reporting
- Utilise ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and track supply chain performance
- Prepare regular reports on inventory, service levels, and fulfilment KPIs
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and optimisation opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- 1–5 years of experience in supply planning, logistics, procurement, or a related role
- Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environments is an advantage
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment
