WHAT WE OFFER
As a Supply Planner, you will plan and monitor product deliveries to ensure optimum stock availability, control costs and maintain the highest possible level of customer service.
You will place and follow up on supplier orders based on sales forecasts and business requirements, with the objective of minimising back orders, optimising inventory levels and ensuring on-time delivery.
Working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, you will also contribute to defining effective delivery conditions, including order frequency, lead times, delivery schedules, minimum order quantities, service-level expectations and logistics agreements.
Manage product supply
Place purchase orders with the suppliers under your responsibility, in line with agreed lead times, budgets and contractual conditions.
Monitor deliveries and proactively negotiate shorter lead times when required.
Liaise with the receiving team to accelerate the processing of urgently needed products.
Anticipate potential supply issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
Monitor and improve supplier performance
Monitor and analyse Supplier Service Level performance and identify the root causes of back orders.
Review the monthly and annual performance of Group suppliers to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Develop a strong understanding of suppliers’ operations, constraints and capabilities.
Collaborate with Group suppliers, Merchandising teams and subsidiaries to implement corrective action plans and continuously improve logistics performance.
Contribute to the negotiation of logistics conditions with Merchandising when onboarding new suppliers.
Analyse inventory-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
Optimise inventory management
Regularly monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
Optimise inventory levels by maintaining appropriate Material Requirements Planning parameters, considering product categories, demand patterns and product life cycles.
Identify and report anomalies in sales forecasts to the relevant team so that forecasting models can be adjusted.
Provide Customer Service teams with accurate information regarding delivery times for out-of-stock products and large-volume orders.
Ensure compliance with Lyreco standards
Comply with the company’s purchasing, pricing and operational policies and procedures.
Complete all required training programmes.
Contribute to the daily maintenance of Lyreco’s ISO standards.
Promote and support Lyreco’s sustainability commitments and responsible business practices.
Drive continuous improvement
Identify opportunities to improve Lyreco’s supply and planning processes.
Propose practical solutions and work cross-functionally to support their implementation.
Contribute to greater operational efficiency, improved stock availability and a consistently high level of customer service.
YOUR PROFILE
University degree (min. 2 years) in Supply Chain, Business or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, or sales administration
Solid skills in MS Excel; knowledge of SAP or APS systems is a plus
Good understanding of inventory management, supply planning and supply chain processes
English at B2 level or higher
