Job Title: Supply Planner Assistant Manager

Location: Cambodia

Main Purpose of the Role

The Supply Planner Assistant Manager is responsible for owning end‑to‑end supply planning execution for assigned categories or channels to ensure high customer service, healthy inventory levels, and efficient working capital management.

The role translates demand plans into feasible and executable supply plans, proactively manages supply and inventory risks, and supports Supply inputs into the monthly S&OP / IBP process with clear data, scenarios, and follow‑up actions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Planning & Execution

  • Own short‑ and mid‑term supply plans aligned with approved demand forecasts.
  • Translate demand into procurement / replenishment plans considering capacity, lead times, and constraints.
  • Ensure optimal stock availability to meet OTIF / Customer Fill Rate (CFR) targets.
  • Proactively identify and resolve supply issues such as shortages, delays, or allocation constraints.

2. Inventory Management

  • Manage inventory health including Days on Hand (DOH), slow‑moving, aging, and obsolete stock.
  • Highlight inventory risks and drive actions such as rebalancing, clearance, or demand shaping with Commercial and Finance teams.
  • Support stock build‑ups for promotions, peak seasons, and product changes, ensuring controlled exposure.

3. S&OP / IBP Support

  • Prepare and provide Supply Planning inputs for the monthly S&OP / IBP cycle.
  • Analyze demand vs supply gaps and identify capacity, inventory, and service risks.
  • Develop supply scenarios and recommend mitigation actions (e.g. stock build, allocation, phasing).
  • Support S&OP discussions with clear data, assumptions, and action proposals.
  • Track and follow up on agreed S&OP actions to ensure execution and closure.

4. Planning Governance & Cross‑Functional Coordination

  • Act as the key interface between Demand Planning, Customer Service, Warehouse, Logistics, and Suppliers.
  • Provide supply visibility, constraints, and recovery plans to stakeholders.
  • Support supply reviews and routine planning meetings.

5. Systems, Data & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate planning data in SAP / planning tools / Excel.
  • Ensure master data such as lead times, MOQ, and safety stock are correctly maintained.
  • Prepare regular reports on service level, inventory, supply risks, and S&OP actions.

6. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, responsiveness, and efficiency.
  • Support supply chain transformation and standardization initiatives.
  • Coach or support junior planners (WL1A / WL1B) where applicable.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Planning / Supply Chain, preferably FMCG.

Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability.
