Job Description

The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing supply plans for Nokia's Fixed Networks portfolio, primarily focusing on Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) and WiFi Beacon products. The role ensures customer demand requirements are met while balancing inventory, manufacturing capacity, material availability, and overall business objectives.

Working closely with Demand Planning, Procurement, Product Management, Logistics, and external JDM/ODM manufacturing partners, the Supply Planner drives operational readiness, manages material constraints, monitors factory performance, and supports product lifecycle activities from ramp-up through End of Life (EOL). The position plays a key role in maintaining supply continuity, optimizing inventory, minimizing excess and obsolete materials, and ensuring on-time customer deliveries in a dynamic global supply chain environment.

  • Drive manufacturing operational readiness in the JDM/ODM factory leveraging partner resources as well as ongoing efficiency and improvement across factories from ramp-up to EOL (End Of Life)
  • Lead cross-functional teams within Nokia and with partners to ensure on time delivery
  • Materials shortage review with external partners and Nokia relevant stakeholders
  • Lead regular meetings to communicate plans with cross-functional operations and demand planning. Adapt plans based on changing customer demand
  • Work with JDM/ODM partners to ensure performance goals for Quality, Turn Around Time and Throughput are met or exceeded from ramp-up to EOL (End Of Life)
  • Manage inventory, Review E&O (Excess & Obsolete) inventory raised by suppliers, minimize E&O liability via reuse, resell and rebalance between different suppliers

You have:

Education Background

  • Bachelor's degree or above, Operations Engineering, Supply Chain and other relevant majors

Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years relevant working experience
  • Strong experience and knowledge of Demand Planning/Supply and factory Materials Management is a MUST
  • Experience in working with multinational teams, cross-functional teams, internal & external teams
  • Experience in electronics/ consumer hardware/Telecom with EMS/JDM/ODM suppliers

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong communication skills in both written and verbal are mandatory
  • Good English communication is a MUST
  • Result oriented and able to deliver commitment
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Good team work spirit
  • MUST be able to speak Mandarin - writing is an added advantage
