The Opportunity

We are hiring for a Supply Planner to place and maintain purchase orders of bulk and other materials to support the production plan between our various work sites (manufacturing, packaging and logistics partner), whilst ensuring appropriate levels of inventory, quality, cost and service is maintained.

This role reports to the Central Supply Planning Manager based in Victoria. This role is a 12 month leave cover and we are open for the individual to be based in either of our Victoria office – Braeside (preferred) or NSW offices – Warriewood or Surry Hills. You will be expected to work from office a minimum of 3 days per week with 2 days per week working from home.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage purchasing and supply planning by raising purchase orders and ensuring materials are available to support production, new products, and projects.

  • Coordinate supplier deliveries by monitoring order confirmations, managing overdue orders, and expediting or deferring materials as required.

  • Partner with Production and Operations teams to ensure on-time material availability and minimise supply disruptions.

  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, resolving supply, quality, and service issues.

  • Support forecasting and inventory management through regular supplier forecasts, MRP planning, inventory optimisation, and working capital management.

  • Manage supply chain communications by providing delivery updates, identifying supply risks, and resolving shipment, documentation, and invoicing issues.

  • Ensure ERP and master data accuracy by maintaining purchase orders, planning data, forecasts, lead times, pricing, and MOQ information.

  • Drive reporting and continuous improvement through KPI reporting, SLOB analysis support, process improvements, and cross-functional backup planning support

Who are you?

  • Bachelor’s degree with related studies in supply chain management, supply planning or operations planning.

  • At least 3 years or more of work experience in supply planning and MRP Processes with strong capability to manage purchase orders, material requirements and overall supply planning.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel.

  • Strong GMP understanding and able to identify and troubleshoot ERP/MRP system issues.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Passionate about data, planning systems, and driving business impact.
