An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Master Planner to join our Lantmännen Unibake team at our office in Pantelimon, Ilfov,

Reporting to Planning Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely availability of raw materials required for production. This role involves forecasting material requirements, managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain an efficient and cost-effective supply chain.

This is what you will do

• Build a professional long-term relationship with suppliers;
• Analyze production schedules and forecast raw material requirements, on a continous basis;
• Analyze the stock of raw materials/goods and establish the short and medium term order plan to suppliers, based on the production plan, ensuring an optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock;
• Send orders for raw materials and primary and secondary packaging to suppliers and monitor their fulfillment;
• Monitor raw materials approaching their expiration date; informs the relevant parties and proposes actions to avoid scrapping;
• Ensure compliance with standards, controls, policies and guidelines;
• Drive Cost Saving Initiative / Value Engineering activities to gain cost reduction/avoidance (eg. diminish scrapping cost)

This is what you need to succeed:

• University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management;
• Fluent in Romanian and English;
• General knowledge of ERP systems (planning, logistics, CRM, BI), with a preference for Microsoft Ax
• Proficiency in Excel
