Job Description

The Supply Planner ensures material availability into distribution centers in order to meet, at best, Nokia demand requirements, without exceeding agreed total cost and inventory levels. Is responsible for the daily operative management of suppliers and supply network, material & production forecasting, order management, and problem solving on local or global level.

  • Manage the distribution of forecast to suppliers (RSP) and acknowledge their supply plan (PO Confirmation Dates and PSP)
  • Collect purchase requisitions and trigger the creation of relevant purchase orders
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure that purchase orders are acknowledged and planned as per our requirements
  • Responsible to maintain supply plan and discuss material shortages and plan deviations
  • Ensure that SAP is properly fed and updated with PO confirmation dates
  • Ensure material's inbound and good receipts execution
  • Follows changes in purchased items and manages Phase in/Phase out (PiPo) under guidance of Operations Portfolio Management (OPM)
  • Manages inventories (FG stock level review, order book management, Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) management and reporting
  • Has responsibility to monitor procurement and master data conditions and interact with relevant teams in charge to grant their maintenance
  • Manages exceptions (FG invoice clarification, returns, quality claims etc)
  • Fluent English language (both written and spoken)
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel and Outlook) and SAP ERP (BPP)
  • Good experience with general supply chain principles (Demand and Supply balance, Inventory management, MRP/ERP systems, Master data parameters)
  • Strong proactivity and problem solving attitude
  • Ability to communicate with different counterparts and departments
  • Knowledge of supply chain's planning tools as Kinaxis RapidResponse
