About the Role:

The Supply Optimization Coordinator is responsible for project coordination activities such as planning, coordinating, communicating and evaluating the execution of Supply Optimization Team projects including implementations, conversions, new builds, par optimizations and other ad hoc requests ensuring effective, data driven, high quality project results.The position works closely with the Supply Optimization Team Leads and Manager, as well as, external stakeholders to ensure goals of the projects are met.Additionally, the position works alongside the Supply Optimization Team on the execution and completion of the work.Coordinates continuous improvement work to meet Supply Optimization Team's KPIs.

Minimum Job Qualifications

  • Licensure or other certifications: Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack within 30 days of hire.

  • Educational Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years experience in warehousing, logistics. Includes two (2) years analyzing data to solve complex supply inefficiencies. Experience in a healthcare supply setting required; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Able to design, lead, and implement Kanban/lean replenishment operations at a mastery level using standard supply chain order history and usage data from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Daily Management Systems (DMS)

  • Articulate communication skills in multiple mediums (spoken, written, group presentation, etc.) to a variety of staff – clinical staff, nonclinical staff, temporary employees, and executive leadership

  • Possess advanced skills in MS Office applications to perform data analysis and create project summary presentations

  • Unrelentingly detail oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize work

  • Possesses understanding of advanced supply chain management work flows including those associated with a LUM distribution processes

  • Able to lead a cross functional team in the analysis and build of healthcare supply chain supply areas

  • Knowledge of medical supply terminology

  • Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted (hospital environment – warehouse, clinical areas, etc.)

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating, in partnership with the Supply Optimization Leads and Manager, resources to ensure effective execution of supply optimization projects such as implementations, conversions, new builds, par optimizations and other ad hoc project requests.

  • Facilitates and organizes the communication on the progression of/status of projects between the Supply Optimization Team and site leaders

  • Manage post-implementation support to record and resolve any issues

  • Plans, organizes, and prioritizes tasks and schedules to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Partners closely with the Supply Optimization Manager and the Supply Chain Data Team to leverage data driven decisions to coordinate.

  • Communicates effectively in regards to project schedules; work plans, status/updates, reports, issue logs, customer communication and key performance indicators across multiple leaders and stakeholders within Supply Chain division

  • Provides support to others, as necessary, to contribute towards effective operations of the department

  • Participates in performance improvement activities to support progress to department goals and objectives

  • Proactively extracts data from the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to identify supply efficiency opportunities

  • Under the direction of the Supply Optimization Manager, coordinates the collection of KPIs in conjunction with the Supply Chain Data Team.Partners closely with Manager, and the Leads in continuous improvement work to ensure the Supply Optimization Team meets their KPIs.

  • Utilize daily management system dashboard for daily work and creating reports for clinical and support teams, as needed

  • Perform regular audits on recently implemented projects and resolve any discrepancies

  • Manage and complete customer requests and concerns through ServiceNow

  • Build and retrofit equipment based on supply area needs including but not limited to building carts, cable-tying, and using hand held power tools

  • Support the Lead Analysts in planning, managing and building supply nodes
