Job Summary

Are you an experienced people leader with a passion for combining strategic thinking, supplier collaboration, and operational excellence to strengthen supply performance and customer value?

We are looking for a Supply Optimisation Manager to join our Planning & Quality team within Services Supply Network (SSN).

In this role, you will lead a team of six specialists in supply optimisation and supplier development. Together, you will drive improvements in supplier performance, planning capabilities, and lead times across our global distribution network, helping to build a resilient and efficient supply network that supports future growth and delivers reliable availability of parts to customers worldwide.

The position is based in Lund, Sweden.

What you will do

As Supply Optimisation Manager, you will be part of the Planning & Quality Leadership Team and play a key role in shaping the future of our Services Supply Network. Together with your team and key stakeholders, you will focus on improving parts availability, developing efficient ways of working, and building strong supplier partnerships to create a responsive and reliable supply network.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of six supply network specialists, fostering engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Drive improvements of supply planning processes to strengthen availability, performance, and customer satisfaction
  • Partner closely with Supplier Management, Operational Purchasing, and other key stakeholders to strengthen supplier performance and planning maturity
  • Translate strategic opportunities into sustainable operational improvements and measurable business results
  • Drive automation, digitalisation, and process excellence across planning and supplier performance management
  • Own team performance, budget, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contribute actively to the Planning & Quality Leadership Team and our ambition to deliver superior customer experience

With a strong continuous improvement mindset, you combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic approach, enabling you to turn opportunities into tangible results.

We believe you bring:

  • Several years of successful people leadership experience
  • Experience within Supply Chain Planning, Supply Optimisation, or a related field
  • Strong analytical capability and a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience with digital tools and technologies such as Power BI, automation solutions
  • The ability to lead change, challenge established ways of working, and deliver sustainable improvements
  • Experience with WCM methodologies and tools is an advantage
  • A university degree, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel approximately 2–4 times per year
