This position provides leadership over the OIDD-Pee Dee Supply Division. Oversees the Warehouse, Housekeeping, and Mail as well as the duties of Supply Operations including scheduling, procurement, cost analysis, and planning and development.
The position for this posting is located at Pee Dee Regional Center, an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID) of BHDD-OIDD located in Florence, SC serving residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
A high school diploma and work experience directly related to the area of employment to include supervisory work experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for work experience. A valid SC Driver's License.
Three years of experience in warehousing or supply. One year of experience as a supervisor. Knowledge of supply practices and procedures. Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures. Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures applicable to property and inventory. Ability to train subordinate employees. Ability to oversee the work of others. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to use a computer in the performance of routine tasks. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Ability to endure lengthy periods of sitting, walking, climbing, etc.

Immunization: If this position requires the applicant to work directly with consumers of The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, tuberculosis (TB) skin or blood testing must be completed prior to beginning employment. All new employees who are healthcare providers are required to provide documentation of immunity or be immunized against measles, mumps, rubella, pertussis, Varicella and Hepatitis B prior to beginning employment.
State Disaster Plan: In accordance with the State's Disaster Plan, which includes hazardous weather, employees of The South Carolina Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities may be required to work in times of an emergency or disaster.
