You will help ensure complex electro-mechanical pathways meet performance, quality, cost, schedule, and manufacturability requirements from new product introduction through the full product lifecycle.

  • Partner early with design engineering to influence architecture, material selection, manufacturing methods, critical specifications, and supplier selection.
  • Develop clear, manufacturable technical requirements, including key characteristics, drawings, inspection methods, test expectations, and qualification criteria.
  • Assess and qualify suppliers through design-for-manufacturability reviews, process capability studies, measurement system analysis, pilot builds, audits, and production-readiness reviews.

  • Collaborate across design, operations, supplier quality, commodity management, and supplier teams to identify risk, resolve quality issues, and improve yield, reliability, and process maturity.
  • Support lifecycle readiness through approved vendor alignment, supplier change control, product change and end-of-life reviews, alternate sourcing, and continuity-of-supply planning.
