Job Category: OtherPOSITION IS LOCATED IN SOUTH KOREA AT EITHER CAMP HUMPHREYS, CAMP CASEY/HOVEY, CAMP HENRY OR CAMP CARROLL!
Position Objective:  Provide a planned and coordinated program, course, curriculum, subject or routine instruction in professional, technical, administrative, or other fields designed to improve individual and organization performance and assist in achieving the agency’s mission in Army training for unit readiness.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical Instructor is primarily responsible for curriculum revision and maintenance. Responsible for curriculum revision and maintenance. Technical curriculum will involve Logistical Information Systems (LIS) Global Combat Support System- Army (GCSS-A), GCSS-ARMY Logistics Information Systems, Army Readiness Common Operating Picture (AR-COP), Military Methods of Instruction, and AESIP applications.
- Courses may be instructor based, computer-based, simulator based, interactive, or non-interactive. The instructor uses a computer to organize and draft a curriculum that breaks a complex subject into blocks or units of instruction, creates graphics, and integrates them into maintenance focused curriculum.
- Job duties for the Army Subject Matter Expert (SME) Instructor course developer include the following, but are not limited to:
- - Supply Policy Below the National Level
- - Using Unit Supply Systems
- - Property Accountability
- - Financial Liability Investigation Property Loss
- - Inventory and inventory adjustments
- - Requesting and receiving supplies
- - Property responsibility
- - Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment (OCIE)
- - Management of I, II, III, IIIP, IV, VIII, IX
- - Hazardous Material
- - Stock Control
- - Excess management
- - Army Award for Supply Excellence
- Provide a comprehensive assessment of training and shall define training requirements to include:
- - An analysis of perishable skills
- - Identification of Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO)
- - Development of outcome metrics
- - Development of test materials and hands-on evaluation for logistics training
- Prepare and deliver briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, and respond to their assigned command.
- Maintain verification systems to identify deficiencies and shortcomings by examining unit maintenance and supply activities and processes to ensure compliance with applicable Army Regulations, field manuals, technical publications, and 8th Army policies.

QualificationsBasic

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years’ experience in the Army logistics field and MOS
- Must obtain a Tier I background check
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in performing inspections/evaluations of military maintenance/supply programs.
Preferred

Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience as a trainer or instructor
- Ability to conduct inspections, evaluations, training, assessments and provide accurate regulatory guidance on equipment maintenance operations and policy to Army organization
- Have extensive knowledge of maintenance management and shop operations
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Army equipment maintenance systems, policies, preventive maintenance and repair procedures
- Understanding of Unit and intermediate activities for CL I, II, III, IV, VII, VIII, and IX commodities.
- Property management, logistic standard operating procedures, shortage annex procedures, control, and security.
- Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss preparation.
-  Procedures, inventories, logistics LIS, assist Property Book Officers with serial number validations and logistics readiness reporting.
- Provides training and SME guidance to customers on the operation of the BCT S-4/BN S-4 and unit supply rooms.
- Provide a comprehensive assessment of training and shall define training requirements to include:
- - An analysis of perishable skills
- - Identification of Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO)
- - Development of outcome metrics
- - Development of test materials and hands-on evaluation for logistics training
- Informs Team Chief on logistical matters and results of field assessments
- Prepare and deliver briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, and respond to their assigned command.
- Maintain verification systems to identify deficiencies and shortcomings by examining unit supply activities and processes to ensure compliance with applicable Army Regulations, field manuals, technical publications, and FORSCOM policies.
- Knowledge of Army structure, commands, units, and logistics components
- Up to 40% travel required to provide unit training and assistance, attend conferences and training.
- Possessing a valid driver license
- Must have own means of transportation
- Good interpersonal skills

- Must live in Korea
