Materials ManagementThe Supply Clerk is responsible for assisting with inventory management, stocking, filling orders and distributing supplies as needed within GPRMC. Maintains storeroom in an orderly manner. Assists customers and vendors as needed.Essential Functions
1. Greets and assists walk-in customers and vendor sales representatives.
2. Maintains storeroom in a clean, orderly fashion. Rotates stock on shelves. Aligns items on shelves in a straight, orderly manner with items easy to find to fill orders. Updates inventory shelf tags.
3. Checks expiration dates on items. Pulls expired or soon to be expired items from storeroom shelves. Notifies appropriate buyer.
4. Performs inventory management in designated user departments by entering into handheld instruments the inventory count of supply items located in designated stocking locations.
5. Responsible for reading, pulling, and delivering of all supply items.
6. Responsible for verifying and entering correct information on counter sheets and other documents.
7. Has items double-checked for accuracy. Places appropriate patient charge stickers on incoming freight. Puts hazard labels on appropriate items prior to stocking. Stocks received items in proper locations on storeroom shelves or bulk storage areas.
8. Receive freight as needed in absence of receiving clerk.
9. Performs bi-weekly storeroom cycle inventory.
