10. Inventory Control/Materials Management
11. Locates, pick and deliver stock items and/or equipment to appropriate area
12. Process item/equipment returns and update inventory database
13. Participate in routine physical inventory maintenance tasks
14. Always places stock and equipment in proper location
15. Performs stock rotation to eliminate expired items
16. Performs and/or assist in decontamination of equipment duties
17. Demonstrates a complete understanding of policies and procedures
18. Demonstrates a complete understanding of software procedures
19. Insures proper charges have been made regarding patient billable items and equipment
20. assembles and inspects all rental equipment as "ready to use"
21. Delivers supplies to departments, receives signatures verifying delivery and issues receipt to ensure that accurate and reliable supply distribution records are maintained. This also includes make in sure catalog numbers are correct and ensuring that products have not reached their expiration dates
22. Assist in annual inventory of hospital supplies
23. Receives and stores stock, ensures that adequate inventory levels are maintained and notes shortages in order to avoid waste and ensure the conversation of valuable hospital resources
24. Maintains adequate inventory levels in approved departments by preparing and submitting customized requisitions for supplies and equipment.
25. Verifies that ordered supplies are received and disbursed in proper location, ensure that requisitions are properly filled and that the correct product is delivered to the department.
26. Monitors supply and equipment levels on specially carts within nursing units, processes requisitions when needed and performs quality assurance checks on crash carts in an effort to ensure proper working conditions
27. Transports used equipment to the decontamination area for cleaning, retrieve clean equipment from the equipment room and transports equipment and supplies to and from nursing units in a timely and efficient manner
28. Monitors patient equipment and supply charges in order to ensure that patients are accurately billed
29. Observes and adheres to all departmental and hospital policies and procedures and follows all safety, quality assurance and infection control standards
30. Other Duties as Assigned
31. Completes assigned projects
32. Active involvement in performance improvement initiatives

• 2 years experience in service/trades with some experience in materials/supply
• High School Diploma or equivalent
