Job Description

The Supply Chain Transformation – Design & Enablement Coordinator provides operational support for enterprise-wide supply chain systems, clinical and administrative workflows, and performance improvement initiatives. This role aligns people, processes, and technology to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and support the successful implementation of transformation efforts that deliver measurable and sustainable value. The Coordinator collaborates with clinical, administrative, and operational stakeholders to advance organizational priorities, strengthen governance structures, and drive accountability across a complex, matrixed health system.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Supply Chain leadership to support enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance clinical care delivery and administrative workflows, driving value across organizational pillars including people, finance, service, and care delivery.
  • Supports the execution of complex, multi-department supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, defined scope, timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
  • Assists in the redesign of clinical and administrative workflows by applying Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement, and change management methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establishes and supports governance frameworks that engage stakeholders and ensure appropriate leadership, customer, and supplier involvement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develops and maintains comprehensive project plans, clearly defining scope, milestones, deliverables, resource allocation, and measurable success metrics.
  • Monitors project performance through quality control, risk management, and issue resolution processes, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Serves as a central coordination point for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment, consistency, and effective communication across departments and stakeholders.
  • Analyzes performance against established goals and KPIs, adjusting plans and execution strategies to achieve desired outcomes and sustain value realization.
  • Drives process, policy, and technology improvements by leveraging benchmarking and industry best practices while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains awareness of external trends and factors impacting project success, supports continuous improvement efforts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field required; Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master of Health Administration (MHA) preferred.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive project management experience, preferably within supply chain, healthcare, or complex operational environments.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management principles, including experience with ERP and EMR systems, contract management tools, and EDI/GHX platforms.
    • Experience with services contracting and strong financial acumen, including cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and supplier/market evaluation.
    • Hands-on experience with project management methodologies, including estimating, scheduling, planning, and performance tracking, using tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Oracle Projects, or similar platforms.
    • Working knowledge of systems development life cycle (SDLC) and experience applying Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery approaches.
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools to support process improvement and decision-making.
    • Demonstrated leadership presence, business acumen, and ability to manage multiple priorities while building effective relationships and driving measurable results.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
