Our Pianezza plant is part of our Light Business Group, in charge of developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics. From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions to stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.

As a Supply Chain Intern in Valeo Pianezza, you will have the opportunity to work with the most powerful carmaker companies in an international and multicultural environment, gaining hands-on experience in both customer demand management and production scheduling.

Mission:

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to learn how to:

• Customer Service Support: Manage customer EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) releases, monitor demand fluctuations, and ensure timely communication regarding delivery schedules.

• Production Planning: Assist in creating and updating the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure production levels align with customer requirements and inventory targets.

• Material Flow Optimization: Collaborate with the logistics team to prevent shortages and optimize the flow between raw material arrival and finished goods shipment.

• KPI Monitoring: Analyze and report on key supply chain metrics such as Service Rate (OTIF), inventory rotation, and production plan attainment.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the planning process and suggest digital or procedural solutions to enhance agility.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Education: Engineering Degree (Management, Industrial, or similar) or a Degree in Economics.

• Language: Fluent English (written and spoken) and Good Italian (B2 Mandatory).

• Soft Skills: Proactive and agile approach, excellent communication, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
