Shift:

Day ShiftThe position schedule is Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM TO 3:00 PM and every second or third weekend depending on staffing levels.

Perform daily Supply Chain Management duties related to the acquisition and distribution of goods to support acute and/or ambulatory care departments as necessary or proactively support/maintain one or more computer-based support systems to ensure continuous operational availability to end users.

What you will do:

* Demonstrate knowledge and competency to manage receiving and distribution of supplies and services throughout the facility as needed.

* Provide leadership and management of the department environment to promote professional practice.

* Actively participate as a department lead.

* Assure that orientation and educational programs are implemented to meet the needs of the colleagues.

* Assist manager/director in monitoring department budget.

* Coordinate communication and problem resolution to facilitate the operation of department.

* Assist in developing, revising and implementing specific policies and procedures.

* Promote a safe environment for patients and colleagues.

* Actively participate in the hiring, evaluating, counseling and corrective action process for colleagues as assigned.

* Train colleagues & readily assume responsibility for extra assignments.

* Serve as a frontline Supply Chain support representatives for complex orders, data entry, reporting & payment activities and initiatives.

* Ability to perform all duties described in Technician role.

* 70%+ time provides inventory or data support.

Minimum Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent is required. College degree preferable.

* Special courses in materials management or institutional management, or equivalent experience is necessary.

* Demonstrable leadership potential is necessary.

* Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English language is necessary.

* 2+ years Supply Chain experience in a healthcare, warehouse or other distribution setting.

* Experienced with health ministries and System supply chain processes within specialty areas.
