Supply Chain Supervisor - Southfield, MI, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
This role will launch materials process in a new lab, building the team and installing processes and standard works from the ground up. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supervisor, Supply Chain leads daily operations at an assigned laboratory site or hospital network. Directly supervises a frontline team, owns site-level inventory performance, and serves as the primary supply chain contact for lab and hospital partners on site.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Leads, coaches, and develops frontline team members through regular feedback and structured development conversations. Identifies and develops internal candidates for advancement and builds individual development plans. Supports career development for all team members from entry level through Lead Supply Replenisher. Onboards new team members and ensures readiness to perform to standard. Manages daily scheduling, attendance, and site coverage. Owns end-to-end inventory replenishment and receiving operations at the assigned site. Partners with laboratory and hospital operations contacts to align on supply needs and resolve exceptions. Enforces standard work processes across all replenishment, audit, and inventory activities. Reviews and approves daily requisitions and resolves inventory system exceptions. Leads daily operations huddles and participates in weekly management reviews. Owns site supply chain performance metrics, monitors results daily and drives corrective action. Escalates service risks and operational disruptions with urgency and clear ownership. Co-facilitates site-level process improvement activities and sustains outcomes. Maintains visual management standards and site safety and quality compliance. Serves as the primary supply chain contact on site for all materials and inventory matters.
Reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. Directly supervises Supply Replenishers and Lead Supply Replenishers at the assigned site. Conducts regular performance conversations and annual reviews for all direct reports. Recommends salary actions and promotions in partnership with manager and HR. Assigns daily work, monitors attendance, and ensures site coverage. Develops Lead Supply Replenishers as the primary internal candidates for supervisor advancement.
On-site daily presence required at assigned location. Laboratory and healthcare environment. Physical material handling required.
