We are looking for a Supply Chain Strategy Professional to join our growing team. The seniority we’re after can range from Consultant to Senior Consultant based on knowledge and experience.

In the Supply Chain and Network Operations team, our mission is to support our clients to build and manage more efficient, agile, and resilient supply chains. We work with the leading companies in the Nordic region to solve their most challenging problems in the Supply Chain space. We are a quickly growing practice of over 100 Supply Chain experts in the Nordics and over 16,000 globally.

Your role

As a Supply Chain Strategy (Senior) Consultant, you will work as a client facing advisor on transformational projects as well as occationally support development of proposals and other preparation work for new projects.

Examples of topics you will work on include:

• Supply chain strategy definition
• Supply chain segmentation and market offering alignment
• Operating model design and organizational restructuring
• Production footprint strategy and network optimization
• Post merger integration
• Cost reduction
• Supply chain digitalization & AI
• Supply chain capability assessment and percormance benchmarking

Depending on more detailed context, the work can range from early stage conceptual design up to and including execution of a global transformation program.

You won’t be working alone as you will collaborate with our global and local teams of diverse professionals, who bring a balanced mix of technical, legal, and business expertise to support you and the projects. This position is based at our Helsinki office. While we offer flexibility regarding remote work in Finland, presence at our Helsinki office as well as at our client locations is required in this position.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for an individual passionate about developing and delivering modern, more efficient supply chains, committed to continuously expanding their knowledge and expertise. With 4 - 7 years of experience from relevant industry, ideally in a consulting capacity, you match most of these characteristics:

• You are enthusiastic and positive, with a ‘can do’ attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset
• You are an insightful thinker, comfortable working with concepts, analysis and frameworks across the end-to-end supply chain
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills that shine especially when driving business case development, financial analysis or operational performance analysis, and you are comfortable working on complex and sometimes incomplete data
• You communicate in a concise and clear manner both verbally and in writing, appropriately tailoring your messages to people from a very wide range of cultures, technical backgrounds and seniorities
• You are confident facilitating cross-functional and international expert teams in workshop settings
• You have a clear sense of ownership for your own work, while thriving in close-knit teams
• You are happy to work in an international environment and willing to travel on short notice if needed
• You have a strong track record in executing supply chain strategy projects under strict deadlines in a global context
• Having experience from Supply Chain functional domains (e.g., Supply Chain planning, Sourcing & Procurement, Distribution & Logistics, Manufacturing, Product Management) or development roles with clear linkage to Supply Chain topics as well as Industry expertise in Industrial Equipment, Process Industry, Forest Industry, Technology, Consumer Goods or Aerospace & Defence sectors can be beneficial in succeeding in this role, but not mandatory

Requirements:

• Master's degree from a relevant field such as Engineering or Economics
• Excellent command of the English language, Finnish language skills are seen as an asset
• You should possess a valid residence and work permit, candidates requiring relocation not being our primary option for this role
