The Boeing Company is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to support Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Team. Location: Heston, UK.

The ideal candidate for this position will need communication and problem solving skills to build and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders and key external suppliers.

Key Position Duties:

  • Cross functional liaison between multi BGS programs and BGS global warehousing and logistics

  • Contributor in providing direction and execution of business operations for aftermarket warehousing

  • Facilitate and manage all communication, planning and projects for our international third party logistics warehouses

  • Responds to customer supply chain inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution

  • Collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include full warehouse capabilities and capacity

  • Manages warehouse operations by reviewing inventory management, receiving, outbound shipping, etc. and ensuring the warehouse is meeting all KPI targets

  • Leads the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system

  • Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in using SAP software

4+ years in Supply Chain Logistics

Experience in a high volume transaction environment

Proficient in all Microsoft Software Applications

Data analytics skills

Experience in team working

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to adapt and make quick decisions in high pressure, dynamic situations

Preferred Qualifications: (nice to have)

Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Institution of Higher Learning

An equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience)

Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products

Ability to makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's work

Ability to work as a member of a team as well as be a leader

The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at the listed location.

Work Authorization: This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll
