The Mission of the Supply Chain Specialist

As a Supply Chain Specialist (Mechanics & Structures) at ICEYE’s headquarters in Espoo, you play a key role in enabling the rapid deployment of satellites delivering real-time Earth observation worldwide. Within the Global Supply Chain team, you ensure seamless procurement and on-time delivery of custom-made and off-the-shelf mechanical components that form the backbone of our space systems. Acting as the interface between engineers and global vendors, you drive RFQs, place orders, onboard new partners, and mitigate delay risks to keep satellites on schedule. With strong technical understanding and a strategic mindset, you safeguard quality, reliability, and speed—advancing ICEYE’s mission to make Earth observation accessible and actionable.

ICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. This includes sovereign and turnkey ISR missions leveraging ICEYE’s world-leading synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite technology, as well as access to data from the world’s largest SAR satellite constellation. Expected Outcomes

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of Satellite components
• Procurement Execution of both custom-made and off-the-shelves products
• Work closely with engineers to ensure highest quality and reliability of deliverables
• Maintain communication with vendors relating to changes of orders / drawings / item specs

Requirements

Role-specific Competences

• Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems and components.
• Proven experience in supply chain management and procurement execution.
• Hands-on expertise in vendor qualification and onboarding processes.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to proactively identify and mitigate delay risks.
