Job Description

Provides end-to-end supply chain support for Offshore Wind (OFW) service projects across Europe sites, overseeing supply chain performance in the region and acting as the primary interface with global One Wind stakeholders. Ensures alignment of supply chain processes to site specific requirements while maintaining compliance with GE Vernova policies.

The role combines strategic and operational support across preventive, corrective, and major component exchange (MCE) activities, with a strong focus on risk mitigation, cost efficiency and continuous improvement.

Indirect Sourcing (< €25k)

  • Manage supplier qualification, onboarding, compliance and system readiness (Supplier Connect-Complyworks).
  • Support sites on RFI/RFQ processes, commercial evaluations, supplier selection, and SOW preparation.
  • Coordinate with global commodity leaders to identify preferred supplier panel per commodity and implement applicable global agreements at site level.
  • Monitor supplier performance and support/escalate corrective actions.

Indirect Procurement Operations (Buyers)

  • Coordinate Buydesk support for the region and resolve escalations.
  • Monitor accounts payable issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Develop procurement dashboards, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Define and maintain PR/PO guidelines, training materials, and support DOA updates.

Indirect Material Management

  • Coordinate all indirect material purchases: consumables and tools.
  • Manage kanban systems, sourcing, ordering, deliveries, returns, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain material trackers, GoCodes governance, and catalog accuracy.
  • Support inspection and calibration processes for PPE, tools and lifting equipment.
  • Analyze consumption trends and support min/max inventory optimization.
  • Lead training sessions and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risk and avoid overspend.

Warehouse

  • Coordinate Lean initiatives with regional warehouse management.
  • Support asset control, recovery actions, training, and indirect material EHS documentation.

Logistics & Customs

  • Coordinate inter-warehouse and special MCE projects transportation.
  • Serve as primary contact for customs-related activities, including HS codes, documentation, and clearance.
  • Prepare shipping documentation and support urgent down-turbine logistics.
  • Align with customs teams on best practices for internal flows.
  • Coordinate logistics support provided by One Wind teams.

Special Tools & CAPEX

  • Coordinate global tool movements and duplication processes with One Wind Tool Center and Tooling Engineers.
  • Support asset traceability, CAPEX approval and RFQ/PO processes.

Direct Material (Spare Parts) support

  • Align with One Wind Tool Center and internal stakeholders on process improvements and roles.
  • Act as primary interface with O&M suppliers on spare parts topics.
  • Support migration of material from indirect to direct when applicable.

Education / Professional Experience

•  Education and/or professional experience matching the mission
•  Experience with supply chain including sourcing, transportation industry, logistics, warehousing, custom clearance
•  Experience in industry, offshore, or wind is a plus
•  Knowledge of compliance standards for tool inspection and calibration.
•   Proficiency in supply chain and asset management software and tools

Language(s):

•  Fluent in English
•  Spanish, German or French is a plus
