Nihon Servier is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support and manage day-to-day logistics, warehouse management and external Manufacturing operations &scheduling in Japan. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, logistics service providers, warehouses and international partners to ensure reliable and compliant product distribution.

This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional with experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or other highly regulated industries who love to work in an international environment.
・Coordinate import and export activities and required documentation.
・Ensure compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations.
・Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve customs or shipping issues.
・Manage local and international logistics activities (coordinate shipments with CMO, 3PL providers, warehouses, freight forwarders and customs brokers).
・Provide delivery and inbound scheduling instructions to distribution centers.
・Monitor shipment status and resolve delivery or logistics issues.
・Ensure logistics activities are completed accurately and on schedule.
・Manage relationships with external logistics service providers and CMO
・Conduct regular performance reviews and identify areas for improvement.
・Coordinate corrective actions when service issues occur.
・Contribute to Update SOPs
・SAP process and transaction management in Procure to Pay process working closely with stakeholders
・As SAP Key User for Procure to Pay, ensure problem solving with global SAP team (example SAP issue on the process)
・Master Data Management – Material & Cost
・Support logistics process automation and system improvements.
・Work closely with Quality, Finance, Commercial and other internal teams.
・Support supply-chain projects and operational initiatives.
College and University graduates
・3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export or a related field.
・Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device or another regulated industry is preferred.
・Experience managing 3PLs, freight forwarders or logistics vendors.
・Knowledge of import/export procedures and trade compliance.
・Experience using SAP or another ERP system.
・Business-level Japanese and English preferred (Reading & Writing – MUST).
・Strong operational execution capability
